a helyiek életét. A rendező maga alakította pap, a csillagász-punkzenész, az önmagát kereső fiatal anya, a háború nélküli katonatiszt, a rokkant tanácselnök, a lelki- és tüdőbeteg nő, valamint az őket megfigyelő kisfiú sorsát ugyanaz az állatias ösztönöket felszabadító kozmikus erő alakítja. A Kutya éji dala az új érzékenység irányzatának radikális főműve, a neoavantgárd, a popkultúra és a magyar underground zene eklektikus fúziója.

Everything relates to everything else in Gábor Bódy’s minimalist, and at the same time monumental cult hit. The new priest arrives in a highland village where he proceeds to shake up the life of the locals using unconventional means. The fate of the priest (played by the director himself), the astronomer-punk musician, the young mother on a mission to find herself, the military officer sans guerre, the disabled president of the council, the psychologically damaged woman with lung disease, and the young boy observing all these goings-on is shaped by the same cosmic force that unleashes animal instincts. Dog’s Night Song is a leading radical work of the trend towards a new sensitivity, an eclectic fusion of neo-avant-garde, pop culture and Hungarian underground music.

A De Occulta Philosophia Bódy Gábor philo–mytho–lyric kliptrilógiájának nyitódarabja, a reneszánsz okkult filozófia és a korai digitális képalkotás találkozása. Az 1983-ban készült „philo-clipben” Agrippa von Nettesheim számmisztikai ábrái alapján egy számítógépes programmal létrehozott közös „kód-partitúra” határozta meg a képek és a hozzájuk kapcsolódó kísérleti elektronikus zene ritmusát.

Occult Philosophy is the opening movement in the Gábor Bódy philo-mytho-lyric clip trilogy, the meeting point of Renaissance occult philosophy and early digital imaging. In the ‘philo-clip’ made in 1983, the rhythm of pictures and related experimental electronic music is determined by a common ‘code partita’ developed using a computer program based on numerological diagrams of Agrippa von Nettesheim.
